
American Academy of Family Physicians Strategic Priorities
The AAFP aspires to more than double the number of medical students and residents choosing family medicine in the next decade, relying heavily on the success of the AAFP’s annual National Conference, the largest gathering of medical students, residents, and family medicine influencers in the world.
Staying up to date through continuing education is a chief concern for physicians who practice the comprehensive and ever-evolving scope of family medicine. The AAFP prides itself on offering top-tier live, self-study, and certification CME, which makes CME the single-largest revenue driver for the organization.
I wrote for these major organizational initiatives and also have worked on key projects and campaigns concerning health equity, physician payment, advocacy, membership, fundraising, and strategic corporate partnerships.

I wrote and implemented a letter on behalf of KU Edwards Campus Vice Chancellor David Cook to newly admitted students. This was part of a larger project to enhance the communication plan and workflow for the campus.
A new release about adoption finalizations facilitated through KVC's Kansas offices on National Adoption Day. I shared with media and also had the privilege of being in the courtroom as new families were officially united — a humbling experience to say the least.
Various examples of recruitment emails designed to encourage interested students to apply, attend events, or explore opportunities at KU.
